MyLife.com advertises "Join to see the 8 people who are searching for James P------- ... Join Now - It's Free" Then AFTER collecting my personal information during the joining process, the next screen says "Become a Premium Member! Upgrade now to see the 8 people who searched for James P------" They wanted $9.95 for one month or $6.95 per month for 12 months. The only other option was "Continue with limited access" which does NOT provide what they advertised. Apparently this is how they build their database and have more details (age, location, etc.) to entice other people into "joining." Probably false advertising; certainly deceptive advertising. When I called to complain about this they offered me a month of access for free. This is probably how they keep the number of complaints down. Most people probably don't take the time to complain (to MyLife, the BBB, the FTC, or anyone). For those who do take the time to complain, MyLife tries to buy you off. Not impressed with this organization.
