Moss and Company Practice Unethical and Illegal Business Practices

Moss and Company is a property management company that manages properties for owners and Moss has bought a few of their own, under Chris " ratface" Gray and his mom, Cindy Gray, the properties they bought, basically the tenants are paying the mortgagee for Moss so please do not get the impression these people are good at business because they are not.
I lived at a Moss apartment for years. I was harassed by the unqualified "portfolio manager" Pozo and she would instruct the manager to harass me as well. Personal grudges are common at Moss because they are unprofessional and there is no oversight nor accountability.
While Ratface basically ignored what exactly Pozo was doing, partly because he is delusional thinking he actual is somebody big in the L.A. scene...well..Pozo got away with quite a bit.
The more common experience for the transient renter with Moss is this...
Cheap work
Cheap remodels...dishwashers and stoves look good but do not work well
The paint is so cheap and done by illegal inexperienced labor
The handyman should get another job, fixing things is obviously not his forte
The water trash and sewer Moss charges is legal in this state but it is unethical and sub metering will one day be illegal, Karen Bass the senator is against it and if any one goes to court a judge will ponder whether it is legal to divide water
The managers are seriously the most unprofessional there is
Basically what Moss wants is the tenant in for a year or two and then OUT.
Moss does the minimum work required and Pozo was a terrible manager.
Do not complain or Moss will evict you.
You can make noise and the person complaining about you will be evicted so go ahead.
Please do not rent from these scoundrels. My advice is clear and my experience was awful.
The cheesy line Ratface uses, Customer Service is our specialty is a lie. Moss will never let you forget that YOUR home is temporary. Ever.
