I am not in foreclosure, but was requesting information about Mortgage Loan Modifications. I was shocked, and rather appalled, at the response from the representative of the company. Is it just me, or was it rather bully-ish and degrading?
From the email
"Why chance losing your house and let somebody else reap all the rewards of the equity in your house when the market turns back around. It’s not too late. I really want to help you keep your home. I am here helping good Americans everyday like yourself. I want you to stay put in YOUR house and not worry about having to go looking for an apartment to rent and shack up in. It will be much cheaper to save your home than having to pay 1st and last month rent plus 1 month security deposit. On top of that, they do a credit check before you’re able to get approve to rent somewhere. And, when you finally find somewhere to rent, how good are you going to feel knowing that you are helping someone else pay their mortgage rather than your own."
There are many companies out there, and I will be looking elsewhere.
