I am a 20-year attorney who graduated from U.C. Hastings. I am also an employee of Morgan Drexen. Let me assure you that this company is not a scam. Here is a brief outline of what and how we assist attorneys who represent debtors in the reduction of outstanding debt. Morgan Drexen, Inc. provides administrative, marketing, paralegal, and paraprofessional support services to law firms that represent near-bankrupt consumers in settling debts with unsecured creditors.
Our highly trained support staff and automated client services IT platform enable law firms to service more clients, more efficiently, with a greater level of attention and at far lower cost. Our paralegals and paraprofessionals manage all initial client intake, ascertain potential clients’ hardships (the threshold requirement for debt settlement services), verify suitability for debt settlement services (available cash-flow from an income-stream, for example), determine each client’s sustainable budget, report potential conflicts, obtain paperwork to process enrolled debts, docket court filings and events, organize, index, retrieve, and automatically alert attorneys to court events. Any-and-everything that entails irrevocably transforming any law firm client’s rights, duties, liberties, lack of rights, powers, liabilities, immunities, or disabilities – the things that actually constitute the practice of law – exclusively should be supervised by that client’s attorney(s) in the state where the client resides. Our unique approach to sustained efficiency for the lawyers – with fully informed consent by the lawyer’s clients and utilizing a limited services approach – conforms to all applicable state-based, lawyers’ “Rules of Professional Conduct.” Consequently there is ample regulation and oversight by state judiciary based on the licensure of the lawyers we serve, and the responsibilities we contractually handle under the lawyer’s ultimate supervision.
