Had Miller Toyota program a Prius 06 smart key that I bought online at autotransponder. When I came to pick up the key, Miller Toyota claimed it can't be programmed as a smart key because it's a used key. They just cut it as a regular key. Miller Toyota replaced the water pump for the electric system on a Toyota recall and told me that the other pump, for the non-electric system, was leaking and ought to be fixed (USD 526.51).
The key looks brandnew. Autotransponder says it is brand new and offers a replacement for free. (I have already paid Miller Toyota USD 120+. Autotransponder won't reimburse that.)
Another Toyota dealer can find nothing wrong with the water pump for the non-electric system.
