I bought a 2004 volkswagon beetle from Michoacan Motors on Wednesday June 9, 2010. When I test drove the car it was jerking a bit. Jose the sales guy told me the car needed a new battery and to come back on friday for it. In the meantime they were gonna get it ready for me by putting in a new battery, fixing the broken front bumper, washing it and fill the gas tank. When I arrived friday it wasnt ready, they took me to a hole in the wall shop where the car was sitting and not a thing had been done. the car was filthy. On my way home the transmission went out. I immediately called Jose and told him the car broke down and he said bring it back monday and I'll fix it for you. I took Monday off to take the car in and when I went back at 5 p.m. the car was gone and they said come wednesday. I came back Wednesday and the car wasnt ready. Now they said tomorrow. then Friday, Today is Thursday June 24, 2010 and I still dont have it. No one answers my calls, everyone lies to me when I go there. The only communication I have is through text messaging with Jose the sales guy but it's just one lie after another. The finance co (fast lane credit) called me and asked how I liked the car and I said I dont have it. they were told that I had the car and was happy with it. The mechanic (r&s Transmission)where I was told my car was being fixed had me come in and sign a work order yesteday. the order specifically said I authorized them to do the work and then I find out they dont even have my car either. At this point I have been lied to by everyone and am currently speaking with an attorney. They refuse to refund my money and have caused my several health issues due to the stress they have put me through. I am a widow with 2 children and we need a dependable car to get to school and work.
People, please spread the word...stay away from this dealer, they are the dirtiest crooks.
