Condescending Service
|
I was asked to be my buddy's best man. I'm a woman.
I was determined to get a mens cut suit to fit in on the grooms side. To be honest, I have always wanted to get a tailored mens suit, and this was my chance, so I was pretty excited to go shopping and began with your store.
Cue Mens Wearhouse: I could not have gotten more snide looks and pushback from the sales staff here: from the saleswoman to the tailor. I was asked "What is your intention?" to being reminded that "There is a woman's department at Macy's that sells suits". The intention was to look great as my best friend's groomsman, and the Macy's comment was too ridiculous for me to even respond. After seeing that the staff was reluctant to help me, we left. We found amazing service at Stanford Bloomingdales and have returned there multiple times to find other items that we need for the wedding.
Truly disappointed and shocked by the sexiest pushback we received when it should have been just another sale. I am saddened not only that you have these people in their employ, but that such discourteousness exists at all.
