THIS IS NOT A COMPLAINT against the Marilyn Scheer Law Group + REBUTTAL

I am currently in a trial modification period and thank the Lord that I got this far with the help of this firm. I am actually surprised with the volume of Complaints made, as I have reviewed many of those that were posted, and I can see or imagine what may have transpired among the vast case scenarios listed.
My initial contact with the Marilyn Scheer Law Group was in the early part of 2010 when I decided to engage their services to obtain a loan modification. Although It has been almost two years since I have retained their services , I knew it would not be an easy road to travel alone, nor did I want to do so myself, in light of the media’s negative attention of the banking/mortgage industry nor did I know the process. With that understanding, I knew that patience and perseverance were necessary and required to exercise as part of the loan modification application process.
For all those who have posted negative comments on their respective experiences with this company, although I am not fully aware of their details, I believe they did not take the reasonable time, effort and diligence in good faith to come to reach a satisfactory resolution, nor did they comprehend being among the multitudes seeking relief from Lenders in the mortgage industry. Although this BBB platform is being utilized as an online resource for judgments regarding business credibility or review determinations, I can see how the lack of communication on both sides can cause these relationships to sour.
Although I gather incompetency of certain staff were recognized in the midst of their job performance, I would imagine Ms. Scheer had no choice but to release certain personnel who would cause or hinder her from maintaining her high regard to uphold the professional standards when she took the oath to become a member of the California Bar Association in good standing to practice law. Through no fault of her own, I would see that she saw it necessary to remove and transfer existing case matters to her newly assigned case workers who would then have to take time to become familiar with each unique case and then follow-up.
As my file too had changed hands within the firm as some had commented on their own experiences, I am glad that my file eventually received Marilyn Scheer’s personal attention for handling. With regular communications to me of what I needed to know and to act upon as timely and appropriately requested, it allowed my file to progress forward, attributed alongside with much prayer. What I do recognize and notice is that Ms. Scheer takes her job seriously and wholeheartedly to help her clients. It is a shame that the willingness and dedication she has to service her clients goes against the stream of many that cannot fathom her role within this kind of field of work typical of arduous encounters with various lenders and departments with constant revolving doors.
While Ms. Scheer‘s primary intent is to assist homeowners with the loan modification process, I would suspect from my review or interpretation of the negative client feedback, aside from the issue of having the unsatisfactory staff support that eventually became apparent, stems from a client’s unwillingness or cooperation to provide the critical documents or information deemed necessary for Ms. Scheer to prepare a complete loan modification submission. Obviously, the entire process may be frustrating, time-consuming, and appearing endless, yet expectations to be without obstacles, roadblocks, or possibilities of human error are unrealistic and without grace.
For those who are adamant in their stance of self-righteousness and cannot or will not see any other viewpoint other than their own, and instead choose to place negative comments online that damages and tears down one’s reputation reminds me of the principle of those who are without any fault of their own whatsoever should cast the first stone.

This is in FOLLOW-UP to my earlier post and in REBUTTAL to Steve V who entitled the post: “Marilynn…STOP writing your own reviews!!!” ---- I am actually appalled and doubly offended with Steve V’s message sent to MY INBOX here directing a message to Marilyn [noted in the Subject line as]: CRIMINAL, [with the message typed]: “Marilynn.......stop writing your own reveiws, you are truely a basket case. Give back the money you have stolen from people!!!!!” ---- How dare you send that message to ME privately where no one else could view your thoughts and accusations! It is bad enough to make an accusation visibly here in stating my post was written by Marilyn, but to pour your obnoxiousness into MY INBOX?!!!! I understand that this REVIEW Section by TRUSTLINK is designed with the purpose for people to state their experiences with a specific company, but to attack other commenters like me demonstrates an uncivil tactic which I would hope that the TRUSTLINK people authorized to monitor this site would ensure safety for the participants with these interacting communications here. It is obvious that you are incorrigibly dissatisfied with your experiences. However, whatever you have in relationships you reap, you will sow. Have you ever thought that I am a real client that has to go through the same process like so many in difficult circumstances? Have you ever thought that you perhaps could be wrong in some of your actions or treatment with respect to your contact communications in your own business experience with them, as well as with your complaining now here online? When you retained their services, did you really desire to cooperate with a proactive willingness? I can see, imagine and empathize your frustrations during your course of experience with them, yet to undergo the process is not for the faint-hearted, but requires much patience, tolerance and good faith. To antagonize with vindictiveness is not the answer to any problem, and to wreak your hatred upon everyone else not having the same position as yours reminds ME of the religious Pharisees who thought they knew it all to make the determination to create a remedy for the situation and to make their own justice. I am sorry you see your experiences as extremely negative. I have my own comments and see it proper and fitting to share here too. Now you tell me if you think Marilyn herself actually is writing MY own commenting submission here.
