My husband and I hired Lexington in June of 2009 to help us modify our mortgage loan. Once they had our money the lived up to none of their promises. Not only did the not pursue our mortgage company for a modification, I had to notify them (Lexington) when the new government program came out that we qualified for. We were sold because they told of us their great legal team that would force our mortgage company to modify our loan. All they did was mail in our application (after we filled it out and mailed it to them) for a government program modification, and speak to our mortgage company on the phone. They promised that by letting them handle it they could "work" the numbers in our favor and get us a modification. We were turned down. This was after 6+ months of them sitting on their hands making one excuse after another with our money in their pockets. The original deal promised a refund if a modification agreement that we were happy with was attained. Now they are completely unresponsive and have not giving us a refund of any amount. So here's the warning: They won’t do anything you can’t do yourself, don’t believe them when they tell you otherwise. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING!!!! Save your money!
