Don't Trust LHDR
|
LHDR is only interesting in signing you up and getting their monthly maintenance fees. They give you the run around, don't answer phone calls or emails, give you "pat" answers for every question you ask. They will not represent you in court and will not give you copies of creditor letters or tax forms. Most credit card companies do not work with them, they will "sell your debt" to a third party collector. Some of these collectors will work with LHDR, some will not. You, the consumer, will have to do most of the legwork yourself. You have to field the creditor calls, you have to go to court by yourself. It matters not they are your "legal representative", they do not assist you at all. Out of my six accounts I placed in the program, they finally resolved three and that was because I was calling them all the time and demanding to be kept in the loop. Two others took me to court and I had to settle them myself. The last account I also settled myself. I did 90% of the legwork in all of them as a matter of fact, so tell me again why I paid LHDR?
