Hunter Chevrolet listed a vehicle that I was very interested in looking at. I called and was told that they could not give out the price over the phone. Upon this information I decided they must not be willing to negotiate the pricing of this vehicle. They then called me several times but I was told the vehicle had been sold. Once more they called me several times this time saying they still had the vehicle and would make it worth my time to come up and look at this vehicle. Please note that this dealership is 70+ miles from my home up a mountain and we had just had a very bad snow storm and the roads where not the best. But since the vehicle was exactly what I was wanting I decided to make the trip and see what it was like and how much exactly they wanted for the vehicle. The day before I was scheduled to travel to the dealership I received several calls from the salesman making sure I was coming. I had specifically asked him to make sure the vehicle was still there and in good condition. That there was no other type of vehicle I was interested in at this time. Upon arriving the salesman was not on the lot and I was directed to a different gentleman who told me that vehicle had been sold several weeks before. The salesman finally arrived and upon arriving before a greeting or anything he said that he knew we were going to be mad but it had been sold the night before. He went to check that it in fact had been sold and came back and said it had but that he had several different vehicles I could look at and he had some in a different brand that was almost the same. This was an apparent attempt to sale a different type of vehicle and the vehicle I wanted was obviously a bait car to draw customers into the store. The vehicle is still listed on their website and now with a new price listing. I would never go to or suggest Hunter Automotive Group to anyone for any reason.
