There are various companies offering low-cost, hydrogen-generating, apparatus-type fuel saving solutions. How2savefuel.com has taken this technology away from the basic DIY approach of saving money on generic parts to offer a robust, rigorously tested, and most importantly, an effective, working system. I had the the Brown's gas generating bottles installed on my '95 Toyota 4Runner and immediately noticed a difference with how my truck's engine sounded and performed. Before, when going uphill on the 210 freeway I had to shift down to 4th gear and still had resistance getting over. Now it is a much more responsive climb. I drive between San Bernardino and Los Angeles every week so it was easy to gauge the fuel economy. I gained roughly 45% more MPG between destinations. As for my carbon footprint, it's the size of my pinky toe now, if that. The guys at the shop provided me with many fuel saving tips and I cant thank them enough for helping me become a part of this movement to steer away from our dependance on foreign oil while contributing to the bettering of our natural environment. To sum up I wouldn't see this as an organization that sells and installs electrolyzer kits as much as a vehicle to drastically reduce greenhouse emissions where the gain in fuel economy and horsepower are the perks. It works.
