It took a while for our loan modification to go through but we were successful. Our first submission was not what we wanted because it was basically the same thing that we had before so we resubmitted. Our next go around was a lot better because they reduced our interest and also fixed the interest in the later years of the mortgage contract. The payments will be much more manageable to us than it would have been if we did not try to modify the loan. The people from Home Savers were very helpful especially Bianca. She was very thorough and told us exactly what we needed to do to get things accomplished. She was patient with us even though it took a few months to get this done. We know that these kinds of negotiations take a while but we would rather have them do it for us than us doing the work.
