Wow an "F" from an "A" It had to happen sooner or later, this company was a scam to us. 6 months ago I call on Home Credit law center to help us to modify our mortgage and needless to say we lost $3,000.00 with this company because I trusted them, If you had Mr. Derek Thomas he was good in convincing us that we would qualify for a loan modification and that our payment from $2,058.00 would be locked at 3.0% and with a payment of .... $758.00 . Now that sounded really good but the fact was that I, was from that moment on I felt something was not right because you can't get a 300,000 loan to be that low, I kept calling Derek Thomas every week to find out how my modification was going and he would always reply with saying don't worry everything is going just awesome and that my modification would soon be resolved and that I should be getting the "PACKAGE" in the mail Well we did after 6 months later the bank sent us the modification but the problem was that the mortgage payment was not even close to what Mr. Thomas prediction was, the bank modification was higher than my original payment now it is $2,497.00 there is no way in hell I can now afford this payment! So now we will need to short sale or lose or home thanks to these swindlers. I called the bank to see if this amount was correct and that I had Home Credit as a third party and they were negotiating with the bank for a lower payment, the bank representative told me that there was no third party on my file! no such company. So they never did they negotiate with the bank. I'm glad that this company is closing there doors so no more innocent people get hurt like my family. I hope Mr. Thomas can sleep well at night, but I don't wish anyone bad karma it only comes on it's own.
