During a recent visit, an inner ear test was needed to diagnose dizzy spells. The doctors were good, and the tests were thorough. However, the office was asked to check what the price was for the procedure, and they responded by saying that a followup phone call would be made by the office to give an estimated price, or the testing facility would give the price.
No one called and the testing facility had no idea of what was going on. A month later, a fat bill arrives in the mail. This practices is called "Balance Billing" and is considered borderline illegal.
BEWARE OF THIS OFFICE'S BILLING PRACTICES! Don't leave until you get an estimate of services in writing!
