I visited this dentist office today for the first time. I should have reviewed the complaints online prior to going. I scheduled a teeth cleaning which is covered by my insurance. I spent an hour and a half listening to a time share sales pitch and never received a teeth cleaning. I was told because I wouldn't pay the $600 for a deeper teeth cleaning that they would not do a regular teeth cleaning. But before that happened, I spent a half an hour getting Xrays. I then was put in a chair. The dentist came in and went over the xrays and tried to sell me on replacing my composite fillings which I just got 6 years ago. Then he tried to explain to me that I would benefit from a lazer gum cleaning or some other more expensive cleanings. Then he left and sent in the closer.. a young woman who brought the charges up on a monitor. Mind you I was still in the dentist chair awaiting my teeth cleaning. So she went over the 3 fillings to be replaced $2400 copayment My insurance covers 50% so they were going to bill $5000. Teeth cleaning would
be a copayment of around $600. When they refused to provide me with my teeth cleaning which I had scheduled, I got up and left. I plan to call my insurance and the BBB tomorrow. Don't waist your time. They do not care about the patient or the community. Very Greedy business. If they were smart they would provide good service at a fair rate and they would get return business. This is Price Gouging from a greedy dentist. They are in Norco not Beverly Hills. What they did not realize, because they cannot see the big picture, is that I am a business owner who has 200 employees. I am well known in their community and could have provided them with return business and many referrals. Now I am only going to warn people not to go to this dentist especially in this economy. Really?
