I started working with H.O.P.E. around December 18th. I had to pay them $400.00 to get paperwork to complete for my mortgage company. I was dealing with Anthony Pennino, who i was told as of 1/05/10, was no longer employed with the company. No one called me to inform me of this. I had to call and try different extensions until I was finally able to reach a person rather that a machine. I have been in contact with my mortgage company since all of this started, and I find out that the paperwork I submitted to them from HOPE, was not correct. I am not able to use that paperwork, and had to get the paperwork from my mortgage company themselves. I have recently started talking with a guy named Tristin, who I am still waiting to hear back from as well as get an e-mail from that I was to receive last evening. When I try to call Tristin, I get his voicemail and I am not able to leave a message due to his mail box being full. I think this company is a scam, and they take your money knowing that this paperwork is no good to your mortgage company. Anthony flat out lied, saying that I have a negotiator working with me from HOPE and that they would be in contact with my mortgage company, when in all reality I could have done all of this on my own with my mortgage company, and saved $400.00. If you read this...save your money and get the correct paperwork from the mortgage company.
