I retained their services for a loan modification. 7 months and 3 agents later to my dissatisfaction it was GROSSLY....unsuccessful. Not only did Guardian Capital / Kalani Law Firm mislead me with their "97% success rate money back guarantee to decrease the APR to the current competitive APR" but they did not negotiate with my lender, they just submitted my paperwork and waited for my lender to make the decision. I have tried to get back my money but no one will return my calls. When Guardian Capital / Kalani Law Firm completed my file my interest rate was the same only fixed, my principal increased by $7,000.00 taking my loan from the original $83,000.000 to 90,000.00 (I only borrowed $88,000.00 to purchase the property 8 years ago)and my mortgage payment was EXACTLY the same as it was before I paid them $2790.00.....ABSOLUTLY NO DECREASE ANYWHERE! I have had to NOW go to my lender directly and do yet another modification in hopes that they will approve it. I would NOT recommend them to ANYONE!!!!
