We have used them for three jobs and generally like their work. They are very courteous and pleasant to talk with when reviewing ideas for a job and understand that homeowners don't always exactly know what they want. They were always willing to discuss different ideas and options, even after the project was started. The important work is always done to a high quality - flooring, plumbing, electrical. Finish work is a little mixed; some finish work is completed adequately, but not to a fine detail - e.g., smoothing a newly finished wall so it didn't show blemishes when painted.
Their pricing is good. We checked with a number of contractors and reviewed places like League of California homeowners and BBB before choosing Globe. They make a pretty good effort to give as realistic an estimate up front as possible. When something comes up, they are open to discussing how much of the responsibility they have versus how much extra the homeowner will have to pay to cover unforeseen circumstances.
Overall, we like them. As I noted in starting, we have used them multiple times and they are the first group we call for new jobs - they are great at small(ish) jobs as well as big jobs. I would give them 4.5 stars, but the site only allows round numbers!
