Review 6/16/2011
|
I arrived at Gateway Auto Spa at around 2:00 PM on 6/13/2011. I took my ticket, left the keys in the ignition as instructed. After I had paid, I was pulled aside by an employee that the keys were missing from the vehicle. After searching the vehicle with the employees, they insinuated that the loss of the keys was my fault and told me to get a spare set. I told them I would have to walk home and they allowed me to leave. I was able to get a hold of my mother who drove down with the spare set. In the mean time, the keys were found, underneath the driver floor mat. The keys weren't there before! I would have had to kneel on them while looking through the car. The manager was finally located and we were refunded our money, but the entire time, from the treatment by the employees and manager, that the problem wasn't their fault but mine. They make you feel terrible for their faults.
Because of the fact that the car keys were out of our site for over 30 minutes and that the car keys reappeared in such an unusual location, we are changing the locks on the house since the house key was on the key ring, our address is on the automobile registration and they insisted I walk home.
