We applied for a loan modification from GMA months ago and tried to contact them continuously to no avail. We paid them $1200 upfront and have heard nothing from them on where our loan modification stands. After not hearing anything from them we sent them an email raising our concerns. They followed up by asking us for more money. Today (June 8, 2010) we went before a foreclosure hearing on our home. During the hearing, we stated to our lender's attorney that we were working with GMA, but our lender (Mortgage Holder) said, they had not spoken with them at all about our loan. We lost valuable time, energy and most of all money and now we stand to lose our home because of this fraud.
