TERRIBLE COMPANY! I dropped my car off for "off site discount parking" , which I found on Orbitz. I have used off site parking in the past and never had a problem. I arrived 3 days later to pick up my car with THIRTY MILES added to my odometer. I quickly confirmed with the worker that my car could only be parked in two places: this lot and the lot 10 feet away. So how did 30 miles get added to my odometer?
I called the manager in the morning, who was unhelpful and insisted that I was making the entire story up. So I proceeded to call the corporate office who also was "defending his men" and believed I "documented the wrong numbers" down. I love my car and am always sure to document the mileage before leaving it in other people's hands. Besides, there are videocameras in the lot for security. I asked why they couldn't review the security tapes and see who took my car. They simply said, "It's impossible."
In addition, an envelope in the passenger seat compartment in the door had been ripped open and left on the seat. They said it's impossible that anyone drove my car....yet I have GPS on my computer and can track my car from anywhere in the world. I saw they drove my car to another part of Miami for what reason I don't know. And they are still denying that anyone drove my car in my absence despite the hard evidence I have against them. I will be filing a police report ASAP. I mean, cars don't pick up and drive themselves around Miami. All I asked is they find the culprit and reprimand or fire him/her. It's not fair to the consumer.
In addition, they do FALSE ADVERTISING. They are known as "Continental Rent a Car", " Florida Rent a Car" and "Ace Rent a Car". I don't know if it's because they are giving false names in order to confuse the consumer in case of lawsuits, etc or for tax purposes to avoid liability. The woman in front of me refused to pay her bill because of this confusing behavior and false advertising by the company.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
