Review 2/14/2010
|
I never, ever ordered anything from this company, yet in mid-January 2010 I received a sample bottle of their pills. Reading about how the scammers work, I immediately called up and told them I never ordered anything and to never ship me anything again.
Coming home from vacation in February, I had waiting for me a set of knives and also a case of wine, items I never ordered. Calling Visa, they started going over my account with me and found other fraudulent charges, including one for $23 to one firm, and another for $81 to another company, but both could be traced back to the same contact FWM Labs use in Cyprus.
Anyway, Visa stopped payment, and reissued a credit card to me with a new number. I again have no idea how FWM Labs obtained my credit card number other than by "mining" data.
Another interesting item was that the wine merchant says sleazy firms will obtain a credit card number, then place a few online orders to see if the card "takes". If so, they start using it themselves to place orders for junk items to you like the FWM products, hoping you will at least be having to send them some money before the charges stop.
