As a survivor home in the San Diego wildfires of 2007 this company was contracted by Servicemaster to pick up the draperies and clothing from our house. FRSTeam refused to give me an inventory of the items they took. They kept everything for 7 weeks. During this time they would not return any of my phone calls. Meanwhile we are freezing in the house without blankets, jackets etc. When they finally showed up with the delivery, it was a fabric nightmare. Clothes that were not mine were delivered to me. They even delivered clothes back to me that were still wet. Rugs smelled of mold and mildew that were wrapped wet in plastic. Table cloths were wet hanging on hangers. Clothes that were dry-clean only had been thrown in a washing machine. They lost many of our clothes. I no longer own a matching outfit. Their reasoning behind their poor work was that "there were so many homes that they needed to get to", it why they did a poor job. That should not be an excuse. The clothes appeared to have been thrown in extremely hot water, as the reds ran and fabric was over-heated. Many of the clothing items stretched to two sizes larger than they use to be. They took things out of the house that never should of left here it the first place. I told them not to take things that were in tubs or sealed in plastic. Most were taken anyway. Now I have very valuable things that were destroyed or lost. Finally, after a lot of work, they did compensate for some of their damages, but it is no where near the cost of replacing things. I recommend doing research on your own to remove smoke damage from your clothing. I have since done this and found out that there is alternative ways to do this without sending out your entire household of clothes out.
