I wish I could give negative stars.
Robert O. is an amazing businessman. It's amazing that he still gets work, I mean.
First of all: totally unprofessional. Condescending. Flaky. Tells you he'll be there at a certain day, at a certain time - and then, no show, no call. Time and time again through the remodeling of 2 bathrooms. He overbooks himself and can't manage to juggle his whole workload. He left one bathroom in tatters to go finish someone else's house and then came back. He made my mother - who was SICK at the time - go pick up the tile. !!! WHO DOES THAT?
We had to hire a painter to go in and retexturize the walls and repaint after Robert O. was finished because the job he did (as part of his pricing) was so terrible.
Once his "work" was "completed", we discovered plumbing leaks in the walls. The fittings HE put in. His plumbing leaks caused major damage in the house and required a restoration company, a plumber, and a contractor to fix. His workmanship is crap. When you call him out on it, he spends a great deal of time telling you how it's not his fault. Cracked tiles, an improperly supported bathtub, tiles coming loose. He even cracked the brand new toilet and then told us that it was like that when he got there.
He brought STRANGERS into the house to see his "work." Yes, selling new clients by TOURING THEM THROUGH THE HOUSE HE'S WORKING ON! And we only knew about it because my mother works from home and was there at the time - otherwise, he would have been bringing strangers in WITHOUT OUR EVEN KNOWING ABOUT IT!!
We needed him to come back and do some repairs (replace tiles that we noticed were cracking in the newly remodeled bathroom, fixing the caulking around the top of the shower). He just spent 20 minutes *blaming my dog* for his lousy workmanship.
This man is a jerk, his work is garbage, and he can't be trusted.
DO NOT HIRE THIS MAN!!!!!
