My name is James and I helped Shalonda with her order. Shalonda was nice and pleasent to work with. I received several emails from Shalonda and 1 or 2 phone calls over this period of time and responded to every one within 2 hours. Shalonda placed her order with us on the day following the disaster in Japan. Needless to say the demand for emergency supplies surged by magnitudes that day, and for the following two weeks. I notified Shalonda that our fulfillment area was working hard to fulfill orders as quickly as possible, that the staff was working overtime and gave here a ball park estiamte of one week. At Shalondas request, I cancelled her order and refunded 100% of the purchase price. And while I appologieze for not being able to deliver her supplies as quickly as we normally do, the 20x demand made it impossible. Shortages and delayes were experienced throughout the entire emergency preapredness supply industry. With that said, I think the moral of the story is...Get Prepared (with emergency supplies), before there is an extreme rush and demand on supplies and services. Once my appologies go out to Shalonda.
