Equity First called my mother whose credit is excellent. First of all she is on the do not call list. This company wanted to lower her interest rates on her credit cards, she already had a really low rate. Theirs wasn't that low. She had to hurry off to do something more important and the guy on the phone was saying "his boss would be mad that he didn't get all her information." She still hung up. She was worried they would charge her for something she didn't want, so I called them for her to make sure. The lady I spoke to was very forceful, hardly letting me get a word in edgewise. Saying they wouldn't charge her anything they only wanted to save her money. Yeah, yeah right!!! I told her several times my mother was on the do-not-call list. She continued being rude about the whole thing. I am very unhappy with the way this company does business. I reported them to the do-not-call center. Hoping this prevents everyone from doing business with this company.
