First of all, I give this place a negative star, not one star.
I bet the wonderful five star review below is a member of this despicable, lying, stealing and unprofessional bridal shop.
Unfortunately, I was impressed by their INITIAL kindness. Little did I know, they would do to me what they have done to many, AFTER they have a deposit, of course.
What is sad is that I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Because of the "perfect gown" excitement and supposed "special offer" they were offering on the day I purchased my prefect gown, I immediately gave a deposit. Cash as they requested.
Once home, I went online and found COUNTLESS reviews of frightening occurrences, ALL basically saying they cheat, lie and steal from everyone. Even then, I felt I didn’t have a reason and couldn't doubt them as they had been very kind to me on the day I purchased the gown. A month and three date changes passed by. I figured it was a misunderstanding. Once I hit the month and a half mark I began to get worried and suspicious. Three months, 5 delivery date changes, countless of unreturned calls, a destroyed worn out gown, breach of contract and hundreds of dollars later, I discovered that the reviews I had read would apply to me as well.
After threatening them with pursuing legal action to remedy their theft, they informed me "my" gown was arriving in three days. "Yay," right? NOT! To my surprise, it was not only "my" gown but their display gown and perhaps every other girls gown who had come in to try it on too they were trying to give me. They tried to tell me that the manufacturer sent them a "brand new" gown that had multiple make up stains, falling out thread, holes as if altered and dirt on the inner portion of it as if someone wore shoes or had dirty feet when they tried it on. When I requested a new gown or my deposit back they said to take them to court instead.
All I have to say is girls, document EVERYTHING from the days you called, the time you called to the condition of the dress. Because these people WILL more than likely do this to you too.
I hope this place is held accountable for their actions and business practices. After so many reviews, shouldn't someone put a stop to this??
I anticipated finding resolution through the Better Business Bureau. If not, I WILL continue to pursue other legal remedies to ensure I get my money back. I suggest EVERYONE who had the similar experience does the same thing. This place needs to stop doing this to people.
