I will keep it short, because no one wants to read a long winded review! After digging to find out that this company is actually the one behind the multiple company names out there, here's a summary of our experience with them:
1. Terrible customer service. When we called on 4/16/2009 and spoke with "Monique", she was rude, dismissive, and showed no interest in answering any questions from us.
2. Lack of transparency in billing. The only thing we were requesting was an explanation of what we were being billed for and why the amount was so high. Monique refused to give any explanation and the company has not given us any detailed explanation of the bill.
3. Abusive billing practices. To date, we have received two communications from this organization. Last month we received the initial bill, so we called for an explanation (which they refused to give), so we went to the hospital to try to get more information. Today I received the second communication, which is labeled "Final Bill" and threatens collection action if not paid in full immediately.
Unfortunately, the consumer is apparently completely powerless when dealing with this company, and you won't know that you're dealing with them until after the fact (when it is too late). If, however, you can somehow avoid doing business with them or one of their shadowy shells, do it!
