Need to improve communication
|
One of their pledges is to "We will closely partner with you throughout the social security claims process to ensure that you know the status of your case, and next steps, at every step of the process " Never received any updates on my case. Even when I retained them to represent me I had to call them to see if I was a client. I used their "Status Update" email address many times to receive an update on my case, not one reply. In one of those emails I asked they were still in business, no reply. In another status update emails I informed Disability Group, if I didn't receive a reply I would have write a poor review on thier performance, which brought me here. The communication was very one sided. I did received a letter from them indicating I was approved for Social Security Disability. Waited for the approval the letter from Social Security Disability after a few weeks I called Disability Group they told me they got a "Verbal" ok from Social Security Disability. Disability Group was going to follow-up with Sociality security. Waited a few more weeks called Disability Group again, same news. Not getting anywhere I called Social Security, they investigated my case, as it turned out my local office had not sent the approval paperwork to the main office. Within a few weeks I received my approval letter. During one of my phone calls to Disability Group, I did report my disappointment with them pointing out their 100% satisfaction guarantee. No response to date. I paid Disability Group a lot of money, I'm not really sure what they did for me. I filled out numerous SSD forms, followed up with my doctors, and in the end, I called Social Security Disability. Finally, when I asked for some advice on one of SSD forms, thinking they had knowledge of every SSD form and what questions I needed to be aware of, their response was, what question do I have question on. In hind-site I would not have hire an attorney until I had to go before the review board. If you want personal service, I can not reccommed Disability Group. Maybe this will get a response from Disability Group. I hope so.
