My wife and I had accumulated about $22,000 in unpaid Federal Income taxes over five years when I was self-employed. We obtained all of the necessary paperwork and tried to do the Offer in Compromise with the IRS ourselves. After months of redundant paperwork, IRS gobbled gook, and increasing aggravation and frustration, they finally flat refused our Offer in Compromise and expected full payment, which was impossible. When we met John from Direct Tax Relief, they saved our offer while it was still within the 30 day appeals period. Our debt was fully settled and paid within a few weeks. We were elated! Direct Tax Relief knows their stuff and saved us with competence and speed.
