Review 7/8/2009

I agree with 7 reviews below. Quick quote and charging of my credit card followed by limited to no action. My vehicle sat at the drop off location for 16 days. They picked the vehicle up the day it was to be delivered. BUT THEY CHARGED MY CREDIT CARD THE DAY BEFORE I DROPPED THE CAR OFF!!! Unfair business practice as I was told the card would be charged right before it was scheduled for pick-up. Customer service is terrible. Agree they tell you what they want to. When I called to find out why the tracking service was not updated I was told that they changed the date of pick-up. When I then informed her that I talked to the drop-off location the day before as the car was being loaded she told me that it was loaded but probably had not left the site because the driver had met his allotted number of hours to drive that day. I then told her that it had been more than 24 hours since the car was loaded. She finally agreed to call dispatch to find out. Dispatch could not locate the driver!! I later found out the truck had left the location the day the car was picked up. The DAS website promotes real-time satellite tracking of your vehicle. There is tracking but not real time. I left 2 messages with the site manager to voice my concerns and he has never returned my calls. I sent 2 emails -- no response. Bottom line -- I hope to receive some money back which may not happen. What will happen is that I will never recommend DAS; in fact, I will make sure that I let everyone know if they are planning to move a vehicle do not use DAS. I also filed 2 complaints with Better Business Bureau in hopes that if enough of us take action, BBB will downgrade their rating of this company. Finally, DAS should post some of these reviews on their "Testamonials" link.
