Review 12/7/2010

On 25th February 2010 I purchased on-line from dealercostcaraudio.com a car receiver McIntosh MX-406. Since I did not receive it in 7 days (as announced on the site), I contacted the sales staff with inquiry on the status of my order. I was informed that the receiver is not in their possession, as it should come from McIntosh factory first, and then send to Bulgaria. One month later after numerous e-mails and no delivery to my address, I decided to cancel my order and receive the money back. On 24th March 2010 the order was cancelled (using a standard form on their site)and since then no money in my credit card. I send emails every week to sales@dealercostcaraudio.com and receive back only `It may take few more days`, or similar auto responses.
Contacted so far: 1) California Department of Consumer Affairs (DCA), contacted on 26th July 2010, complaint #OC-10-0720060030 2) Office of the Attorney General (AG), contacted on 27th July 2010, complaint PIU #363378 - responded as unable to get response from Dealercostcaraudio.com; 3) Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) - still no response from them; 4) BBB - pending.
Still nothing in my VISA. This is a company of thieves, nothing more. I just hope more consumers read here, prior to purchase anything from these thugs. If you guys from the States have this problem with refund, what remains for internationals ...
