I think the best way to learn a language is in context, especially one as difficult as Mandarin. I asked several of the universities in London for recommendations, as well as friends who were living in China. I chose NSC because they seemed to offer the
best package for what I was looking for. I had an incredible time in China. I was able to enjoy a immersive experience in the dynamic Beijing. By the time I was finished I could easily order food, give directions to cab drivers and have simple conversations.
Most of all I made some lasting friends that I hope to see again soon.
