Continental Academy Is Not Worth It

I did the online schooling back in 2013 so that I could eventually go to college, just recently I went to my local college and was informed that my so called diploma wasn't acceptable because Continental Academy lost it's accreditation back in 2009/2010. I called the school and was transferred to a man and explained to him what happened he kept cutting me off and was so rude so I literally had to scream to make him hear me and asked how do I go about getting my money back so tells me the diploma is only for working purpose and not to get into college (which wasn't told to me when I signed up) so I told him either he can help me or I'll have to call my lawyer, he stated well you do that and hung up on me. I guess he thought I was bluffing but I wasn't so I called my lawyer and explained everything to him and in a few days a received a copy of the letter my lawyer sent over to the school after I sent in everything I had to sent in, so I'll see how everything go in a few days (the school have 10 day to reply to the letter)
