Clean Solar installed a 7000 watt solar electric system for my home, consisting of 36 ground-mount panels with individual microinverters. They provided excellent service throughout the project. Their design consultation was thorough and thoughtful, given this was not a typical roof-mount project. Their quote was fair, in line with market, and their references were great, which mattered as much as rock-bottom price. Despite a few changes along the way, they never revisited the quote.
The longest phase was permit approvals, which they handled entirely, providing periodic progress reports. Once the materials were delivered, the installation went smoothly and quickly, taking just a few days extra because they weren’t satisfied with a particular alignment. I didn’t see the problem, but it’s a testimony to their craftsmanship that they wanted to make everything perfect. Final inspection with the city and power company passed with no issues.
Except for a cloudier than usual spring, the system has turned photons into electrons with quiet efficiency ever since. Running the electric meter backwards brings a surprising satisfaction! Kudos to Clean Solar for a job well done.

As another way to harvest sunlight, Jeff Ritchey of Clean Solar also makes excellent wine: http://www.sensoriumwines.com If you're lucky, he might have a bottle to share. I ended up buying a case to celebrate my new solar panels!
