Review 3/16/2010

I posted a complaint, but this is a review of Christian Lawyers of America. On August 28, 2009 I signed up at a seminar for a debit settlement program and a loan modification program at a cost of $9,000 charged to one of credit cards. I heard nothing from them and continue to get spotty responses. Their preferred method of communication is email, but I've had virtually no success with that. I have on rare occasions gotten through by phone, but have only spoken with operators with promises of responses by modifiers that never came. I did get through once to a loan modifier who sounded like he was in India and admitted he was a third party and basically asked me to redo the loan packet I had filled out 3 months prior. I did so but can't get through to send him the packet. In the mean time I received a letter from a third party law firm informing me they could no longer provide me with any services, based on me not responding to their email requesting loan information that I had already provided to Christian Lawyers of America, I never received that Email. I contacted that third party who basically told me they were declining further business with Christian Lawyers of America. I would follow their example and seek help else where. I also feel very duped, because I'm a Christian and fell for their advertisements on California Christian station KKLA. I can only hope they will come through, but they really need to improve their communication.
