Bad Experience!
|
After a recent road trip I took my vehicle to California Oaks car wash to remove road grime and bug residue. After I returned home, my husband and I inspected the car and were disappointed with the result of the wash. The following day I returned to the car wash and was told that they would wash it again, free of charge. After the second car wash my vehicle still was not clean. Bug residue still remained. At that point, I asked two of the employees how they could clean the residue off. One employee took a bottle of Windex and rubbed vigorously with a rag and created 2 rub/burn marks on my clear coat protectant. When I asked them how to remove the rub/burn marks, they said they were sorry but they did not know, and just walked away. We tried SEVERAL times to reach the general manager, but he continually evaded our phone calls. Finally, after confronting in person he refused to pay the $160 to replace the area that was damaged. He refused to acknowledge that his employees caused the damage even though I personally saw them do it. He did counter-offer $80 and some additional car washes. This was totally unacceptable. I asked him to give me the name of the owner so I could pursue the matter, but he repeatedly refused.
