This company has a horrible return policy. I have bought 4 electronics from this store in the past year, all on different trips. Their prices are a little better than most stores, but I noticed that the salespeople are allowed to "bargain" or "haggle" with the consumer to get the price down. On the last item I bought, a flat screen TV, the sales rep made me feel like I was haggling over a used car. He offered to give back some of his commission by putting "his code" into the the computer. It worked. But then I had to stand outside in the heat at their loading doc for about 30 minutes with 20 other customers waiting for someone to hand me my purchase. I sort of felt like I was in Africa waiting for the UN food truck to come by, and I was fighting to get a bag of rice. (everyone had their hands in the air trying to signal or grad the loading dock guys). It is very dangerous to make people wait in an active parking lot to get their item, with cars and trucks everywhere. Then I finally got home, setup the TV, and it didn't work. So I hauled it back to the store. I was missing 1 piece of foam from inside the box. The returns person who I could barely hear (he refused to speak in a normal voice and whispered all his words) told me that because 1 piece of foam was missing, he had to reduce my refund by 15%. That did not make sense because the TV clearly did not work. I plugged it in for him right there to show him. He didn't budge so I called for the manager. After a 25 minute wait- I kid you not- another person showed up. He said he was the manager, and that the policy was firm. When I showed him the TV was defective, he stuck to his 15% position. I am very unhappy with this whole experience and it was not worth the savings or my time. I discourage people from shopping at this chain store because it is an unpleasant experience, unsafe, and they have a horrible customer care/returns policy.
