My relation with this company is over at last.I have moved to a new place a few month ago and Ben Leeds Property did refuse to pay my security deposit back. They also were trying to make me pay for the apartment renovation in which I lived for over 10 years. Needles to say all my attempts to communicate with that management didn't lead to resolving the issue. Yesterday I had to go to a Small Court and the judgment was made in my favor. Now Ben Leeds Property management has to pay me a principal amount of my security deposit plus the interest its accumulated according to Los Angles City regulations. Whoa! Good news. If you are running into similar problem with these people - go to court! Just make sure you have all of your papers ready to present to the Judge. Get ready to hear Ben Leeds representative lying through his teeth and presenting the fake (!!!) papers and photographs to the Judge. Stay calm. Don't interrupt. Be polite. You can win the case, and you can get your money back. Good luck!
