While I respect the proposed attitude towards beach cruiser enthusiasm that is portrayed by the company via their website, I have found customer service to be disrespectful and lacking. I placed an order on the beachcruiser.net website. My credit card was charged the next day, and two days latter I was issued a tracking number for a FedEX package. The tracking number for the period of one week showed no shipping activity. I emailed the company's 'inquiries line' four times in that week. I received one response, that the company was looking into the matter and they would reply to me promptly. I never got a response. I called the customer service line in the first week. The representative was rude, and told me not to worry about it. He said that my package had been shipped and that the tracking number must have been wrong. He provided no further assistance. Ten days after placing my order I talked to another representative. I had to call three numbers to get someone to answer. The man told me that they were shipping out my order today. Whether or not that is true is impossible to tell. In a ten day time frame, I was charged for the unshipped product immediately, I was lied to, and ignored. The company's online inventory is great, but the customer service could not be worse.
