Horrible service. Beginning the process of finding another lender to switch to.

BAC Home Loans is the worst loan company I have ever been through. For example I am active military and a full time student. This month I had to attend a school a couple of states over to go towards my bachelors degree. The money I had to spend on this school made me a little short on my loan payment. My monthly loan payment is $1078 and some change. I have a little over $900 to go towards the payment. I spoke with a few representatives from BAC home loan services trying to figure out what I need to do to keep this from being a negative on my account. I have had the loan for almost two years and have made all of my payments on time. Not only could they not help me defer a payment, they told me if I sent the check in for less then the amount owed they would just send it back. What kind of bank doesn't allow someone to pay around 90% of their payment. Obviously Bank of America prefers their customers to go into default on their loans. In my opinion if you have a customer that has been great on paying their loans on time and they are calling because they don't have the full funds available to make a complete payment for one month, then they should be cut some slack. Let them make a partial payment, then add the difference to the end of their loan. Why is this such a problem? I am now beginning the process to having my loan switched to another lender. I don't understand why banks these days are just out to get people.
