DO NOT REFINANCE WITH BANK OF AMERICA!!!
Let me start by saying this. Ever since BOA bought out country wide and I was forced to use BOA its been nothing but issues. I went with BOA to refinance my mortgage figuring that since I ALREADY have a existing loan with them the whole process would be easier, IT WAS WITH OUT A DOUBT THE WORSE EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH!!
I started my refinance on June 2nd, 2011. Im still in the middle and its now august 19th,2011.
There has been several people that my loan has been "passed on to" every time the loan went from one "loan specialist" to another, paper work that I faxed over was mysterious miss placed.
Every time I called the loan officer or loan refinance mortgage specialist, i would get a voice mail. They would call me back 2 days later...maybe.
I would just end up calling 2 or 3 times a week just to ask them what they need to get the refinance moving!
I have faxed several documents multiple times.
I gave them everything that wanted within a day.
I NEVER got a call back on status of the refinance.
Custom service was a joke.
The loan Specialist would give me a list and say "THIS IS ALL WE NEED" then two days later i would call to check on the status, she would say we need more...
AND THE LIST GOES ON AND ON...
PLEASE DO YOUR SELF A FAVOR DO NOT USE Bank of America for a refinance.
the whole experience has been very stressful and aggravating.
