I haven't had any problems. are the preparers still there that you used? I am not sure who had your taxes messed up, but I have not had any problems and I have been using them for over 10 yrs now and that is with me living in and out of the state. I say that it is up to you to decide and made the decision and if something does not seem right ask the questions. If you are getting a 6k check and you know something is up then ask. Because I just found an error from 1 1/2 years ago that was something I should have caught and not fault of my preparer.
