When I was looking for my first house, my boss recommended American Interbanc. He was uneasy about dealing with a company strictly over the phone and email so he visited their office. They had no objections to his visit. I completed their application online and they contact me right away. I love the fact the their fees and interest rates are listed and updated daily. You will not be surprised by any hidden fees. I looked elsewhere for better interest rates, but did not find anyone that would get close to AI. I communicated with my loan officer via email and phone; she was helpful and friendly. We didn't have any issues and closed a few days before schedule. About a year after I purchased my home, I refinanced my loan through them to get a even lower interest rate. I contacted them and was able to lock in a rate the same day.
I recommend them to everyone that tells me that they are looking into buying a house. My other boss recently refinanced through AI and he was very pleased.
I am currently looking for a second house and plan on using AI again.
