First of all I don't think it's right that mortgage companies to be able to keep selling off your mortgage. Mine has been sold many times until it reach this American Home Mortgage Servicing. Now I am stuck with these low life's. They should change their name as every time I call them I keep getting people in east Asia. I can never understand these people and when I request to speak to a person in the US I get hung up on. Anyway I am a month behind on my mortgage and now have a financial hardship. I have a bone disease which forced me to go into early retirement and totally disabled. So my income has also most been cut in half. So back last July 2009 I submitted papers on the new refinancing program that the government came out with. Many phones calls to these people with many stating that I did not fill out all forms. When they looked harder it's funny how papers were discovered. Have not heard a word until I call Asia again in December 2009 and I was told this was declined because I made to much money (still not have seen anything in written).Yesterday 24 January 201o I received a letter from some attorney Moss Codilis L.L.P. stating looking to collect debt of 1600.00. This would be for month behind and the current payment which is not due yet. I looked up this company and see that they have the same reputation as this mortgage company. After digging further I see there is now a lawsuit against American with the Ohio State Attorney General. At this time with all the crap this company has given me I also will seek help from the NYS Attorney General. I also will contact New York State Senator Charles E. Schumer. With all these banks getting bailed out with my and your money it's time we start getting treated with some respect. I also like this mortgage companies BBB rating of D. How can companies like these stay in business with their poor contact with the public. It's hard to give this company any star. Well maybe because they used the right postage for their mailings.
