Biggest complaint with this company is you can never ever ever ever get the same customer support rep. I always get someone else and the story of our status is never the same. This is very stressful. I was given a case manager once but he never answers his phone and never ever ever returned our phone calls. They claim to have a home retention department but basically every department you speak with is a collection agent. They don't want to really work with you to help you keep your home. I have been in foreclosure with this company 3 times now. I have received 2 notices that a loan modification was approved but then we get a notice that no modification has been agreed to. Then the foreclosure letters follow soon after. They are a real pain in the tush. They helped to created the mess I am in. On several occasions in the past while entering a loan modification I have been instructed not to make my monthly payments. Then you talk to another rep weeks later and they tell you "Oh no we would never tell you not to make payments". Then you receive a letter stating you have missed such amount of payments. Just very very frustration. You can never get a proper answer and it is just screwing our life as a homeowner up. You just want to throw your hands up and walk away but we refuse. It was not my fault that I and my wife were out of work. We went through our 401k, savings money from relatives to keep this house. When the jobs came through it was too late. We were behind. The most easy thing in the world would be is to add our payments to the end of the mortgage. But, for whatever reason this mortgage company of ours can't work this out. My wife and I now make good money but the mortgage company seems more intent in taking our home than helping us keep it. Just silly.
