Last month we received a phone call from a gentleman at this company. He said, "Hi, this is Soandso calling about your Ricoh copier." This is the same exact introduction that Ricoh uses when they call us each month to get a count on the number of copies we have used. He misled our office manager into thinking he was with Ricoh in order to send us toner. He said, "I just wanted you to be aware that the rate on your toner is about to increase, so you should order it now to keep your low rate." We received a black toner cartridge in the mail that did not fit our machine, along with an invoice for approximately $500.00. When we called back to inquire about it, they said that since we agreed to purchase the cartridge, there was nothing they could do. Needless to say we were not about to pay over $500.00 for something that costs less than $100.00. After getting into a heated discussion with the representative, they agreed to send us a shipping label to mail it back to them. Please be cautious of this company. They are operating a toner scam and will misrepresent themselves as employees of company from which you contract your copier.
