I enrolled in this school for the evening Medical Assistant course. The first 3 weeks, we did not have a teacher. After several complains to the schoold they brought in a teacher, she tried very hard to instruct us, but was not given any curiculum and when she took us into the laboratory, there was no necessary equipment for her to instruct us to give injections, venipunctures, EKG'S and learn all the basics of the back office. Finally our teacher quit and two other teachers were brought in. I finally decided to transfer to SCROC in Torrance. The sad story that I was there for 3 months and did not learn anything and had to pay back part of the course. ADVANCE COLLEGE IN SOUTHGATE IS THE WORST SCHOOL. I am suprised they have survived this long. They don't care about their students. They only care about money. Any student that reads this please do your research well, find a local community college or occupational centers that offer this courses.
