Review 3/4/2011

We bought our 1950s home that included a 1960s sunroom in 2005. We were fine with the old sunroom until the first rains. We noticed that it had a slow leak somewhere because the carpeting was getting damp. We called ASR because they were local to us,hoping they could just fix the problem. The salesman came over and said they could not fix it because they could not guarantee the work of the old sunroom and he sold us on the better technology that would go into their sunroom. And they would guarantee that it would not leak. The old sunroom was torn down, the new one put up but after the first year, it would also leak. We repeatedly call them to come and fix it, they do so very very slowly and only after we call several times and speaking with a supervisor. The fixing they do is to apply a tar mixture to the areas they believe are causing the leak. We have even been told that the problem lies in the side of our house roofing that the sunroom is adjacent to. Our roof on the other side of that wall does not leak. The dry wall and paint have water damage and it gets so bad during hard rains that we need to use a bucket to collect all the drippy water. If I had to do this all over again I WOULD NOT. Too much money for work they have not been able to fix or guarantee and the customer service is lacking.
